Founded in 1780, the University of Münster (WWU) has a remarkable tradition, a proud heritage and a reputation for excellent research and innovation. With 45,000 students, 15 faculties, 7,850 members of staff – including about 600 professors – WWU is one of the largest universities in Germany.
