Institut Mines-Télécom (IMT) is France’s leading public Federal Institute of Technological Universities of science and management for sustainable economic development. Through research and the training of 14 000 engineers, managers and PhDs per year, IMT is addressing the major industrial, digital, energy and ecological challenges facing France and Europe.
Created to meet France’s economic and industrial development needs since the nineteenth century, IMT’s Technological Universities have supported every industrial and communications revolution. In Horizon Europe, IMT is present in all pillars (ERC, MSCA, thematic calls, EIC) with nearly 80 projects funded (25% success rate), including around 15 coordination projects and 5 ERCs.
IMT is also involved in major European projects and initiatives such as the EULiST alliance of European universities, the Franco-German Academy for the Industry of the Future in partnership with the Technical University of Munich, the MSCA-CONFUND SEED project, the future ERIC SLICES and GAIA-X.

Located within the France-Belgium of Commerce and Industry, in the heart of the European quarter, IMT is also part of the Maison Irène et Frédéric Joliot-Curie, which gathers the French actors of R&I in Brussels.
